White LED lighting

New V2.0 Rebel Dome module. Supercedes V1.0 and is inherently the same design. The board has been made a little 'taller' (0.6" versus 0.5").

The LED dome modules are constructed by soldering a Lumileds white Rebel LED directly to the back of the custom driver board. The pins (left & right sides) are to allow the light to plug into the Dome receptacles of most vehicles that use a standard 1 1/4" festoon bulb. The current output is set to a conservative 350mA using a 90 Lumen Rebel.

A LED dome module is constructed by mounting a 1W Luxeon Star to the back of a CC1W Driver board. The pins (left & right sides) are to allow the light to plug into the Dome receptacles of most vehicles that use a standard 1 1/4" festoon bulb.

The LED dome lights are installed in the 80 and my FJ60. It took a little more effort to get them into the FJ60, but they work fine. Impressive little gizmos, nice work. My wagon was at a friend's shop with the door ajar and dome light on for a week and there was no noticeable effect on the battery. Try that with a regular light bulb.

George, got them, put them in ASAP after I saw ... these are really great, now I have to see if they fit the suburban.

The lights work great- I am really impressed- I am ready to buy the door lights if available.

Received and installed. Awesome!!! MUCH more light. My wife and baby thank you too. We can see to load/unload him properly now.

the led light is amazing! it's so bright! the install was very easy, the only feedback i can give you for my year is that the board (square) is perfectly cut to fit the dome so installing it requires to have it "sit" perfectly.

George, the dome light is great. I want one for the 3rd row dome, if you still have any in stock. It should do away with the need for adding a light immediately behind the rear hatch.
