hyperboost Driver
hyperboost Driver:
- Constant current boost regulator. Adjustable current limit set by precision multi-turn trimpot and/or external Potentiometer.
- Maximum output current 2000mA (1400mA prior to Feb 9, 2012, 1300mA for drivers prior to Feb 13, 2010).
- V1.1 enhanced high performance PWM input (similar to H6CC)
- Can drive multiple series connected LEDs.
- Operates from 8V to 50V.
- Maximum output voltage 80V (open circuit protected).
- Protected against reverse polarity connection.
- Regulator requires input voltage to be LESS than output voltage (Boost driver).
- Board is 1.4" in diameter. Maximum thickness is 0.35" (PCB + inductor height). Components only on top side of the board. For higher power applications the board can be mounted to a heatsink with thermal pad material.
The following picture is of the original V1.0 Hyperboost driver. Same exact specifications as the V1.1 except for the PWM input (see technical section).
