uFlex_std: (No longer available)

Constant current regulator.
Ships configured for 1W, 380mA current limit (mild over-drive) or for 5W, 750mA current limit (mild over-drive).
New feature as of V1.00 of firmware allows the user to reconfigure (via the switch) for 1W or 5W at any time.
Current limit set in firmware. 8 'brightness' levels - from <10mA up to 380mA (1W) or 750mA (5W).
Non-volatile storage of brightness level.
Draws <0.3mA when in 'sleep mode'.
>85% efficiency.
Can drive either a single 1W Luxeon or two series connected 1W Luxeons (from minimum of 8V input).
Can drive either a single Luxeon III or two series connected Luxeon III's (from minimum of 8V input).
Can drive a single 5W Luxeon.
Operates from 3V to 20V.
When the input voltage drops below the LED Vf the controller goes into direct drive mode.
Protected against reverse polarity connection and output short circuit.
Board is 1.6" x 1.25".

And the first four assembled and one fired up and running. It's dimmed down - that's why the Luxeon isn't blinding the camera...
